Have warm, informal conversations with new volunteers joining the district, helping them feel at home and connected to Scouting in the Vale.
What you’ll do
- Carry out welcome conversations with new volunteers as they join
- Record outcomes and pass any relevant information to the appropriate lead
- Be a friendly and approachable first point of contact for new starters
What you’ll need
Must have completed the Welcome Conversation training (this can be arranged — we need more people to do this!)
Anyone who has completed the Welcome Conversation training automatically becomes part of this team.
