Team Member
Assess volunteers within the district who are working towards their Nights Away Permit. This is a rewarding role that directly supports the development of leaders and the growth of nights away activity across the district.
What you’ll do
- Assess candidates working towards their Nights Away Permit at the appropriate level
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance throughout the assessment process
- Complete assessment paperwork in line with Scout Association requirements
- Work with the Volunteer Development Team to identify candidates for assessment
- Keep up to date with any changes to NAP assessment requirements
What you’ll need
- Must hold a Nights Away Permit (NAP) at Supervisor level or above
- Must have completed the relevant Nights Away Permit Assessor training (this can be arranged through the district)
