Team Lead
There may not be international activities in the calendar right now, but that won’t always be the case. This role is about getting us ready — building connections, spotting opportunities, and making sure young people in the Vale have a chance to experience Scouting on a global scale.
What you’ll do
- Lead the development of international opportunities for young people and volunteers across the district
- Research and identify suitable international Scout events, exchanges, and activities
- Build relationships with international Scout organisations and county/national contacts
- Work with the Programme Team to integrate international experiences into the district programme
- Support young people and volunteers in preparing for international activities
- Keep the District Lead Volunteer informed of plans and progress
What you’ll need
- Experience of international Scouting activities is desirable but not essential
- Enthusiasm for developing opportunities and thinking ahead
This is a lead role to start with. The team will grow as international activity develops.
