Team Member / Subject Matter Expert
You know your section inside out. This role is about sharing that knowledge — helping leaders across the district develop their programmes, build their confidence, and give young people in Explorers the best possible experience.
What you’ll do
- Act as the district’s go-to person for all things Explorers
- Support section leaders with programme planning and badge/award delivery
- Share resources, ideas, and best practice with leaders across the district
- Identify gaps or challenges in Explorers provision and flag these to the Programme Team
- Help develop and deliver district-level Explorers activities where needed
- Stay up to date with national Explorers programme updates and guidance
What you’ll need
- Current or recent experience leading or helping in a Explorers section
- Good knowledge of the section programme, awards, and badges
