Team Lead
Lead the district’s Duke of Edinburgh’s Award offer, making sure young people have the support and structure they need to complete their award. Anyone actively running, delivering, or assessing DofE within the district automatically becomes part of this team.
What you’ll do
- Oversee DofE delivery across the district, coordinating with section leaders and group volunteers
- Act as the main point of contact for DofE queries from leaders and young people
- Maintain the district’s eDofE account and ensure records are kept up to date
- Support and develop other adults involved in DofE delivery
- Work with the Programme Team to promote DofE opportunities across the district
- Keep up to date with DofE programme requirements and share updates with the team
What you’ll need
- DofE Leader/Manager accreditation (or willingness to complete this)
- Experience of supporting young people through DofE at any level
All volunteers actively delivering or assessing DofE in the district are automatically members of this team.
