Team Member
Sign off when adventurous activities are taking place across the district, making sure the right people know what’s happening and that activities are being run safely.
What you’ll do
- Review and sign off adventurous activity notifications from sections and teams
- Ensure activities are being run in line with Scout Association rules and district expectations
- Provide advice to leaders on planning and running adventurous activities safely
- Keep records of notifications and flag any concerns to the District Lead Volunteer
What you’ll need
- Experience of planning or running adventurous activities within Scouting
- Permit holder status is not required, but relevant experience is essential
