Explorer Volunteers
All of our leaders are trained volunteers working to make Explorers the best it can be, but we don’t just need swashbuckling adventurers to lead our expeditions. We also need tidy-uppers and tea-makers and great listeners from all walks of life – for as much or as little time as they can spare.
What Explorers do
Explorers take Scouting to new heights — shaping their own adventures, taking on leadership roles, and challenging themselves through expeditions, volunteering, and skills for life. They enjoy more independence, work towards top awards like the Duke of Edinburgh’s and Queen’s Scout Award, and make memories that last a lifetime. Explorers are all about teamwork, personal growth, and making a difference in their communities.
