Do you love helping young people have amazing experiences? Want to play a part in bringing the big events to life? We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our District Programme Team – and we’d love you to be part of it!
What does the team do?
The Programme Team works together to dream up, plan and deliver the exciting events that bring our groups together across the district. This year we’ve already run:
✅ JOTT (Jamboree on the Trail)
✅ Bitza Day
✅ Pioneering Competition
And we’re not stopping there! In the year ahead we’ve got even bigger adventures on the way, including:
🌲 District Cub Camp
🏕 Scout Camp
🔥 Backwards Cooking Competition
🎉 Plus loads more fun, skills and challenges for every section!
Why join?
- Be part of a creative, friendly team.
- Help shape events that hundreds of young people will remember for years to come.
- Share your skills (or learn new ones!) in planning, logistics, activities, or just being a pair of helpful hands on the day.
- You don’t have to commit to every event – even helping with one or two makes a huge difference.
Who can join?
Anyone with a bit of enthusiasm! Whether you’re a current leader, a parent, or just someone who wants to support local Scouting, we’d love to have you involved.
