Earlier this month Clwyd Area Scouts ran their annual awards night. This year it was held in the Grove Park Theatre, Wrexham. As one of the districts within Clwyd, the Vale of Clwyd Scouts were proud to see several of their members honoured for their contributions to Scouting as well as plenty nominated across the categories.

The awards ceremony, which brings together districts from across the area, highlights the efforts of individuals who have gone above and beyond in their roles. This year, Vale of Clwyd Scouts saw five outstanding volunteers and young people recognised for their dedication and impact within the movement.

Will Hughes, Scout Team Leader at 2nd Rhyl Scouts, also delivered a presentation during the evening. Will attended Roverway in Norway last summer as IST and was supported through the Area’s New Horizon Fund.
